What is an Eco Resort ?

Anahata is an Eco-Resort, we attempt to minimize our environmental impact. Therefore, all guest accommodations have low consumption light bulbs (LEDs) and are equipped with two outlets to charge cell phones and camera batteries. Our construction method is extremely organic: minimal concrete, no land modification, very low carbon footprint. every bedroom having the necessary modern comforts for you to enjoy your stay from fresh cotton linen, comfortable mattresses and our own custom blended toiletries. Their cosy interiors inspire feelings of calm and serenity.  



The cottages

The cottages are spacious, palm-thatched mango wood cabins floating on stilts and equipped with a private balcony. They are designed with high roofs and according to cross-ventilation system that allows keeping a fresh air temperature inside the room. Their octagonal shape make them unique!  The cottages are designed as eco-friendly beach huts and are large octagonal shaped wooden structures with thatch roofs. Cottages are 50 square meters in size. All cottages have en-suite bathrooms with 24 hour hot water supply. While cottages are not air-conditioned and they have fans, there is ample cooling because of the organic materials used and passive air-circulation. All cottages have comfortable furniture. 


the Sea View Suites

Sea View Suites are Portuguese-Goan style casitas with tiled roofs. All the suites have fantastic sea views. They are approximately 40 square meters in size. All suites are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms with 24 hour hot water supply. Comfortable furniture and linen are placed in every room. feature comfy beds, either king size, double or twins with high quality Indian cotton sheets, fluffy down pillows, walk-in closet or cupboard, a safe, private bathroom with rain shower, luscious custom bath amenities and cosy bathrobes.

The Food


Anahata has its own al-fresco restaurant where the laid-back atmosphere entices you in to taste their delicious, healthy and organic food, something to satisfy every palate. There is a beautiful on-site kitchen serving home-grown vegetables, fresh organic fruits, leaves and sprouts.

After morning practice, you can help yourself to the delicious brunches they have on offer here – all the fruits, coconuts, yogurt, toast, eggs and the yummiest pancakes we’ve ever eaten! Other meals and snacks are available onsite throughout the day (gluten and dairy free options available too) and into the evening. From the rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean you can enjoy a cooling drink; juices, smoothies as well as cocktails, wine and beer.
